Wired Remote Controller

A control panel (remote) that connects by a physical cable to the indoor unit, as opposed to an infrared or wireless remote. This wall-mounted wired controller can set temperature, fan mode, and other settings. It typically includes a display and buttons, and since it’s wired it doesn’t require batteries. Many mini-split and cassette units offer both wired and wireless remotes; the wired version is often more secure and can be located away from direct sunlight or drafts for more accurate sensing.
